About Us
For nearly 27 years executive chef Ralf Dauns a.k.a the “Soup Meister”, was a staple of the North Vancouver community.
He was featured in the DailyHive as the “Best Soup in Vancouver” in 2021: https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/best-soup-vancouver and won the North Shore News Reader Choice Awards for “Best Meal Under $10” in 2016 and 2017.
Sadly, Uncle Ralf passed away just before Christmas of 2022.

Our Soups
Fresh ingredients are the key to any good meal. We source our food locally where possible and have worked hard to maintain strong relationships with small suppliers for anything we need to be brought in.
The Kitchen
Located in the Lonsdale Quay Market, the 1000+ square foot production kitchen can be found just off the Rotunda. Offering a daily selection of 4-5 hot soups, plus 2 fully-stocked refrigerators and freezer, there is something for everyone.
